How do I join the affiliate program?

You can apply through the IC Funded Affiliate application form:

https://dashboard.icfunded.com/Identity/Account/RegisterAffiliate

All applications are reviewed by our team before approval. We may request additional information about your promotional channels, website, or social media presence.

Yes.

Once your account credentials are issued, you will receive instructions on how to access your trading account using one of our supported platforms.

IC Funded provides access to MetaTrader 5 (MT5) and cTrader, both available at no additional cost. These platforms can be downloaded directly from their official websites or accessed through their web and mobile versions.

After logging in with your account credentials, you can begin trading immediately.

Traders become eligible to request their first payout 14 calendar days after their funded account is activated.

To qualify for a payout request, traders must also meet the minimum trading activity requirements, including:

  • At least 5 profitable trading days
  • Each profitable day must reflect a net gain of at least 0.5% of the account balance

Once these conditions are met, traders may submit a payout request through their trader dashboard.

After the first payout, traders may request additional payouts every 14 days, provided all trading rules, risk management policies, and compliance requirements continue to be respected.

All payout requests remain subject to review by IC Funded’s Risk Management and Compliance teams before approval and processing.

Yes, traders are allowed to use a VPS (Virtual Private Server) or VPN while trading.

A VPS can help improve trading stability, reduce latency, and ensure trading platforms remain connected without interruption. VPNs may also be used for secure internet access or connectivity purposes.

However, traders should be aware that certain VPS or VPN configurations, as well as abnormal connection behavior, may trigger security or risk monitoring systems.

Examples may include:

  • Frequent IP or location changes
  • Simultaneous logins from different countries or devices
  • Shared or public VPS/VPN environments
  • Multiple accounts accessing the platform from the same infrastructure
  • Excessive automated server activity

These situations may result in additional security or compliance reviews, as they can resemble prohibited behaviors such as account sharing, coordinated trading activity, unauthorized automation, or copy trading networks.

To reduce potential issues, traders are encouraged to:

  • Use a dedicated/private VPS whenever possible
  • Maintain consistent login locations and devices
  • Avoid simultaneous access from multiple regions
  • Use only personal trading systems and custom-built EAs
  • Avoid third-party EAs, shared automation systems, or copy trading software

While VPS and VPN usage is permitted, all trading activity remains subject to IC Funded’s Risk Management and platform monitoring systems to ensure fair and compliant use of the evaluation environment.

The challenge fee is refunded after your third payout as a funded trader.

This refund is processed along with the payout and rewards traders who demonstrate consistent trading performance.

IC Funded offers a 14-day refund policy for initial challenge purchases.

To qualify for a refund:

• The request must be submitted within fourteen (14) days of the original purchase
No trading activity or account action must have occurred on the account
• The refund request must be sent to support@icfunded.com

If a trade has been placed or any activity has occurred on the account, the purchase will no longer be eligible for a refund.

Please note that approved refunds may be subject to payment provider, processing, or administrative fees.

Additionally, refunds will not be issued if the account has violated the Terms & Conditions or if the account is terminated due to prohibited behavior or rule violations.

Payouts may be delayed, restricted, or denied if any violation of IC Funded’s rules, policies, or compliance requirements is identified.

Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Violations of trading rules or risk management limits
  • Failure to complete KYC or identity verification requirements
  • Suspicious, abusive, exploitative, or prohibited trading activity
  • Breaches of the IC Funded Terms & Conditions
  • Use of prohibited strategies, coordinated trading, copy trading, or unauthorized automation
  • Evidence of platform abuse, unfair advantage, or non-compliant trading behavior

All payout requests are subject to review by IC Funded’s Risk Management and Compliance teams.

IC Funded reserves the right to investigate trading activity and deny payouts if the activity is determined to violate the rules, the intended purpose of the evaluation program, or fair-use standards.

The maximum drawdown represents the maximum total loss allowed on the account during either the evaluation or funded stage.

At IC Funded, the maximum drawdown is calculated using an equity-based absolute drawdown model. This means the drawdown limit is fixed based on the initial starting balance and does not trail upward as profits increase.

Both open and closed trades are included in the calculation at all times.

If the account equity falls below the maximum drawdown threshold, the account will be considered to have breached the risk limit.

2-Step Professional Program

The maximum drawdown depends on the account size selected:

  • Accounts below $100,000 → 10% maximum drawdown
  • $100,000 accounts and above → 8% maximum drawdown

Example — $100,000 2-Step Account

  • Starting Balance: $100,000
  • Maximum Drawdown: 8%

The maximum loss allowed is $8,000.

This means the account equity must never fall below:

  • $92,000

at any time during the evaluation or funded stage.

Even if the account grows to $110,000 or higher, the maximum drawdown level remains fixed at $92,000.

1-Step Accelerated Program

All 1-Step Accelerated accounts use a fixed 6% maximum drawdown.

Example — $100,000 1-Step Account

  • Starting Balance: $100,000
  • Maximum Drawdown: 6%

The maximum loss allowed is $6,000.

This means the account equity must never fall below:

  • $94,000

at any time.

The drawdown level remains fixed and does not trail upward as profits increase.

Important

  • Maximum drawdown is based on equity, not balance
  • Floating losses from open trades are included in real time
  • Open positions can trigger a drawdown breach even before trades are closed
  • Traders should continuously monitor their exposure and floating PnL to avoid violations of the risk limits

If a trader violates one of the trading rules, the account will be considered to have failed the evaluation or breached the funded account conditions.

Examples of rule violations include:

  • Exceeding the daily drawdown limit
  • Exceeding the maximum drawdown limit
  • Violating specific program trading restrictions
  • Engaging in prohibited trading practices
  • Using unauthorized automation, copy trading systems, or coordinated account activity
  • Attempting to exploit pricing errors, platform delays, latency, or system vulnerabilities

When a rule breach occurs, the account may be automatically terminated and will no longer be eligible to continue in the evaluation or funded stage.

In addition, IC Funded’s Risk Management team reserves the right to manually review, suspend, breach, or terminate any account if there is reasonable evidence suggesting abuse, exploitation of the platform, unfair advantage, or behavior inconsistent with the intended purpose of the evaluation program.

This includes situations where trading activity may technically avoid a standard rule violation but is determined by the Risk Team to involve exploitative, abusive, coordinated, or prohibited behavior.

Traders who wish to continue participating may purchase a new challenge account and begin a new evaluation, subject to approval and compliance review.

All accounts and trading activity are continuously monitored by IC Funded’s Risk Management systems and team to ensure compliance with the program rules and to maintain fair trading conditions for all participants.

The cost of the challenge depends on the account size selected by the trader.

Each challenge requires a one-time fee, which grants access to the evaluation program and the opportunity to qualify for a funded account.

Pricing varies depending on:

• Account size
• Program type (e.g., 1-Step or 2-Step evaluation)

Full pricing details can be found on the Pricing page of the IC Funded website.

IC Funded processes payouts through RISE.

RISE is a global payout platform that allows traders to receive their earnings securely and efficiently. Once a payout request is approved, the funds are transferred to the trader’s RISE account, where they can then manage withdrawals according to the options available within the RISE platform.

Traders must ensure they have an active RISE account in order to receive payouts.

No. IC Funded is not a broker and does not hold client deposits.

IC Funded provides traders with access to a simulated trading environment through virtual trading accounts designed to evaluate trading performance and risk management.

Traders participate in an evaluation process where they must meet specific trading objectives while respecting risk limits. Upon successfully completing the evaluation, traders may become eligible for a funded trading account based on their demonstrated performance.

Throughout all stages of the program, trading activity takes place in a simulated trading environment that replicates real market conditions.

To participate in IC Funded challenges, traders must meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age at the time of registration.
  • Be legally allowed to enter into a binding agreement under the laws of their country of residence.
  • Not be located in, or a resident of, any restricted jurisdictions where our services are not available due to regulatory or compliance requirements.
  • Agree to and comply with all IC Funded Terms & Conditions, Trading Rules, and Risk Management policies.

Traders are responsible for ensuring that participating in a simulated trading evaluation program is permitted in their jurisdiction.

If you are unsure about your eligibility, we recommend contacting our Support team before purchasing a challenge.

Copy trading between accounts may be restricted depending on the circumstances.

Traders should not copy trades between multiple IC Funded accounts in a way that bypasses risk management rules or creates identical trading activity across accounts. This includes using trade copiers or automated systems to mirror the same trades simultaneously across several accounts.

Such activity may be flagged by IC Funded’s Risk Management systems and could result in account review or termination.

If traders operate multiple accounts, each account should reflect independent trading decisions and risk management.

If you are unsure whether your setup complies with the rules, we recommend contacting IC Funded Support before using any trade copying tools.

Profit targets depend on the challenge program selected.

2-Step Professional Program

Traders must reach two profit targets:

Step 1

  • Profit Target: 10%

Step 2

  • Profit Target: 5%

Once both steps are successfully completed while respecting all trading rules, the trader becomes eligible to receive a Funded account.

1-Step Accelerated Program

The 1-Step Accelerated Program has a single evaluation phase.

  • Profit Target: 10%

Traders must reach the profit target while respecting all risk limits, including daily drawdown, maximum drawdown, and the consistency rule.

Important

Both programs have:

  • Minimum trading days: 3
  • No maximum time limit

This allows traders to complete the challenge at their own pace while demonstrating consistent trading performance.

The daily drawdown is calculated based on equity, not only the closed balance.

This means that both open and closed positions are included when calculating the daily loss limit. If the account equity drops below the permitted daily drawdown level at any moment during the day, the rule will be considered violated.

Traders should always monitor their floating losses, as open trades can contribute to reaching the daily drawdown limit even if positions have not yet been closed.

The daily drawdown resets at the end of the trading day at 00:00 server time, which corresponds to:

00:00 GMT+2 or GMT+3 depending on daylight saving time.

No, IC Funded challenges do not have a maximum time limit.

Traders can complete the evaluation at their own pace, as long as they respect all trading rules and requirements.

To successfully pass the challenge, traders must:

  • Reach the required profit target
  • Respect the daily drawdown and maximum drawdown limits
  • Complete the minimum trading day requirement (3 days)

The unlimited time structure allows traders to focus on consistent and disciplined trading, rather than rushing to meet a strict deadline.

All trading at IC Funded is conducted in a simulated trading environment. During both the evaluation and funded stages, traders operate on demo accounts that replicate real market conditions.

Yes, news trading is allowed at IC Funded.

During the evaluation stages, traders are allowed to trade during high-impact economic news events.

However, once an account reaches the Funded stage, a 3-minute cool-off period applies for high-impact news releases.

This means traders cannot open or close trades within 3 minutes before or 3 minutes after a high-impact economic news announcement.

The restriction is designed to reduce extreme volatility risk and ensure fair trading conditions in funded accounts.

Traders should also continue to respect all other risk management rules, including:

  • Daily drawdown limits
  • Maximum drawdown limits
  • All other program trading requirements

High-impact news events typically include major releases such as:

  • Interest rate decisions
  • CPI / inflation data
  • Non-Farm Payrolls (NFP)
  • Central bank announcements

All trading activity remains subject to review by the Risk Management team to ensure compliance with IC Funded policies.

Both MetaTrader 5 (MT5) and cTrader allow you to log in from different devices using the same account credentials.

To ensure that trading conditions during the evaluation phase closely resemble those typically encountered in live market environments, a simulated commission is applied to all instruments.

This commission is purely virtual and does not represent an actual fee charged by a broker or execution venue, nor are trades executed in live financial markets during the evaluation phase. Its sole purpose is to reflect realistic trading costs commonly associated with real-world trading.

The inclusion of this simulated commission helps prevent artificially favorable, zero-cost trading conditions and ensures that trading strategies are assessed under conditions that more accurately reflect typical market practices.

Within our trading environment, the reference commission structure is $4 per standard lot (round turn) across all instruments. This amount is proportionally adjusted based on trade size, as follows:

  • A 1.00 lot (100,000 units) trade corresponds to a $4.00 commission (round turn)
  • A 0.10 lot (10,000 units) trade corresponds to approximately $0.40 commission
  • A 0.01 lot (1,000 units) trade corresponds to approximately $0.04 commission

Although these commissions are simulated during the evaluation phase, they are consistently applied to approximate realistic cost conditions.

Traders are allowed to hold positions overnight. However, a Friday flatten is required ,all trades must be closed before the market closes for the week.

Positions that remain open may be automatically closed.

This rule is designed to limit exposure to weekend gaps and low-liquidity conditions.

Traders must ensure full compliance with this requirement at all times.

Expert Advisors (EAs) and automated trading strategies might be allowed at IC Funded, provided they are developed and fully controlled by the account holder.

Traders might be allowed to use trading bots, algorithms, or automated systems as long as their strategies comply with IC Funded’s trading rules and risk management policies.

However, practices such as the following may not be permitted:

* Use of third-party EAs, commercially distributed bots, rented automation, or systems not built and controlled by the trader

* Strategies designed to exploit platform latency or pricing errors

* Excessive order activity that may impact platform stability

* Copy trading between multiple IC Funded accounts or coordinated behaviour

* Any strategy intended to circumvent risk limits or evaluation rules

This list is not exhaustive, and similar practices may also be restricted at IC Funded’s discretion.

All trading activity may be reviewed by the Risk Management team to ensure fair use of the platform and compliance with rules.

IC Funded is designed to identify disciplined and consistent traders operating under realistic market conditions. Certain trading behaviors are strictly prohibited because they rely on execution loopholes, excessive risk exposure, platform exploitation, or activity that cannot reasonably be replicated in live market environments.

Forbidden practices include, but are not limited to:

  • Arbitrage strategies, including latency, hedge, reverse, rollover, or gap arbitrage
  • Exploiting pricing errors, delayed feeds, or system inefficiencies
  • High-frequency trading (HFT) or tick scalping
  • Copy trading, mirror trading, signal sharing, or coordinated execution between accounts
  • Shared IPs, VPS environments, proxy networks, or linked trading infrastructure
  • Excessive risk-taking, gambling-style behavior, or overleveraging
  • Artificial trade placement intended only to satisfy challenge objectives or payout requirements
  • Unrealistic trading volume, abnormal execution behavior, or non-replicable trading activity
  • Use of bots, scripts, or automated systems designed to exploit execution vulnerabilities
  • Sudden strategy switching between evaluation and funded stages
  • Single-trade dependency or disproportionate profit concentration from isolated positions
  • Martingale systems, grid averaging, or uncontrolled recovery-style risk escalation
  • Account sharing, rented accounts, or third-party account management
  • Cross-firm hedging or coordinated offsetting strategies across external accounts
  • Manipulation or abuse of platform infrastructure, APIs, or execution systems
  • Inconsistent trading behavior that materially differs from evaluation-stage execution

Accounts identified as engaging in prohibited activity may be subject to review, restrictions, profit denial, suspension, or termination at IC Funded’s sole discretion.

Yes, traders may purchase and participate in multiple IC Funded challenges at the same time.

Multiple funded accounts are permitted, with a maximum total allocation of $500,000 per trader.

All accounts must comply with IC Funded’s trading rules, risk management guidelines, and prohibited trading practices. Any attempt to bypass risk limits or use multiple accounts in a coordinated manner to exploit the evaluation process may result in account suspension or termination.

The consistency rule limits how much of your total profit can come from a single trading day.

In the 1-Step Accelerated Program, no single trading day may represent more than 45% of the total profits generated during the evaluation phase.

For example:

Total Profit: $10,000

Maximum profit from one day: $4,500 (45%)

If a single trading day exceeds this 45% threshold, the excess portion will be added to the overall profit target. This means that the account will not fail, but additional profit will need to be generated through subsequent trading days to meet the adjusted target.

For example:

Total Profit: $10,000

Profit from one day: $6,000

Allowed maximum: $4,500

Excess: $1,500

In this case, the $1,500 excess will be added to the original profit target, requiring the trader to generate additional profit beyond the initial objective.

This rule is designed to encourage consistent and sustainable trading performance, rather than reaching the profit target through a single large trade.

The consistency rule is considered a soft rule (soft breach). This means that exceeding the 45% limit does not automatically fail the account. However, it may trigger a risk review by the IC Funded Risk Management team.

The rule applies only to the 1-Step Accelerated Program and does not apply to the 2-Step Professional Program or the Funded stage.
